AFDSNY Honors Norm Petricca

Director Joyce Petkus and President Thomas Rinaldi attended a meeting of the Thomas Corners Fire Company on Tuesday September 4th at 7:30pm.  They were in attendance to award former long time Region 1 Director Norm Petricca, his retirement watch.  In a brief ceremony they awarded Norm his well-deserved watch from the State Association as a small token of appreciation for his years of services as a Director.  Norm was again speechless and overcome with emotion and expressed his thanks to everyone in the Association.  Norm related that he missed the people he had associated with for so many years and wished us all the best in the future. Norm continues to be the Chairman of the Board of Fire Commissioner for the Glenville #7 Fire District and continues to fight the good fight.  He was looking forward to attending the 2018 Leadership Expo in Saratoga in October.
