LODD: BUFFALO FIREFIGHTER DIES AFTER BEING TRAPPED IN BLAZE

A firefighter died inside a burning building in downtown Buffalo, New York, on Wednesday March 1st, where a fire and an explosion sent flames and smoke billowing into the street. It's believed that the Firefighter became trapped after a partial building collapse caused by an building explosion.

Video recorded by bystanders showed teams of firefighters operating outside the building being knocked over by what appears to be a smoke explosion enveloped in a cloud of ash, then flailing to regain control of their flowing hoses.
