AFDSNY - NYSAFC PUSH TO HAVE STATE LEGISLATURE TO "DESIGINATE EMS AS AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE"

Today George June, John Manzi from Association of Fire Districts of The State of New York, 2nd VP Richard Lyman of the NYSAFC and Todd Vandervort of the Vandervort Group met with Senator Shelley B. Mayer concerning the Senator's bill (S.8432-A (Mayer) to Designate EMS as an Essential Service, expand the benefits available to EMS Personnel and set standards for EMS. The meeting proved to fruitful for everyone involved.
