NEW OFFICERS ELECTED AND RESULTS ON BY-LAW AMENDMENT VOTES AT ANNUAL MEETING
The Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York recently held its Annual Meeting at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. During the business session on Monday, October 21st, a new slate of officers was elected to lead the Association for the upcoming year. Joseph Badala was elected as President, with David Denniston as 1st Vice President and Ralph Raymond as 2nd Vice President, all through uncontested elections. Following the procedures outlined in the Association By-Laws, the body authorized the Secretary-Treasurer to cast a single vote for each officer, officially electing them to their respective roles. Later that evening, they took their oaths of office with the assistance of NYS Assemblyman Joseph DeStefano from District 3.
